Pre-Press Receiving clean, print-ready files is a “win-win” solution for both you and Lynx. To that end, we provide“How To” information sheets for a variety of desktop publishing applications, complete with screen captures, and step-by-step instructions on preparing files. We’re readily available, via phone or e-mail, to walk you through the process of preparing your files for print. We offer a variety of methods for sending your files electronically and process your files to proofs within twenty-four hours. Our goal is to stream-line the final stages of your production into ours through efficient communication, customer service, and attention to detail. Print Management At Lynx, we use an electronic workflow that starts with your estimate and concludes with your invoice. All pertinent information regarding the correct production and distribution of your project is included in a plant-wide electronic work ticket. Press Our plant is comprised of digital, sheet-fed and heat-set web press solutions. Based upon the mechanics of your project and best efficiencies, we've streamlined production for you in order to give you the most of each dollar you invest in print. Our closed-loop color control gives you the confidence in consistency from press to press, print run to print run. We provide the most sheet-fed press solutions under one roof. Whether printing large-format limited edition prints, posters, or wall calendars, to tiny pharmaceutical folded owner's manuals - from single-color to six-color, with both spot dull and spot gloss varnish, we have the press for the job! Lynx has two of the newest M-130 heat-set web presses in the Pacific Northwest. Equipped with the latest in print technology; closed-loop color and in-line registration, our heat-set web presses print 16-page signatures up to 8.5 x 11" with full bleeds and up to five colors. Plus, with up to 18 folding options, we can configure our presses to produce a wide variety of page count and size options. Post-Press In our finishing department, numerous saddle stitchers and perfect binders are available to ensure not only high-speed production of your work, but durable, standard binding as well as specialty binding options including PUR perfect binding, lay-flat binding, loop-stitching, plastic-coil and wire-o binding. Additional impact and increased response to your projects are possible with inserts, tip-ons, onserts, postal approved poly-bagging and a wide range of personalization options. Assembly Lynx provides in-house assembly for large or small projects. We've stepped up to the plate and have performed turn-key assembly of millions of components and kits. Beyond printed components, Lynx procures additional elements for assembly thereby providing finished, quality-controlled kits. Whether you require multiple component assembly or a multiple piece mailing project requiring a combination of hand-assembly and automated inserting - Lynx is your assembly solution. Mailing and Distribution By having mailing services in-house Lynx could be dropping your mail pieces at the post office within twenty-four hours of being off press. Lynx expedites your mailing process by ink-jet addressing mail "in-line" as we bind your project, dropping it to the post office as soon as the next day! We now offer you automated, large-format inserting into envelopes or postal approved poly-bags. Portrait or landscape catalogs/magazines are inserted easily and quickly into booklet envelopes (opening on long side) or sealed into poly-bagging material. Maximize your impact by having us print your envelopes (valuable promotional space!) and optimize your postage by including up to five inserts!
